A charming pair of 1940s screwback hand earrings gold plated sterling silver from Coro!

This beautiful "Friendship Set" hand design was patented in 1944 at a time when figurals like these were very stylish. These sweet and elegant earrings feature hands that are embellished with a jewelled bracelet and ring. The addition of long red fingernails adds to the glamour of these vintage earrings. A beautiful design that was patented by Adolph Katz.
This item is seen in Brunialti’s “America Costume Jewelry Arts & Industry" and is design patent number 139075 as shown. This item is not marked with the patent number.

🌟 Condition: Excellent. There is a bit of residue around some of the red stones leading me to think they have been replaced at one time. The plating and enamel are in excellent condition.
