Mazer & Jomaz

Mazer Jewelry, founded in 1926 by Joseph Mazer and his brother Louis, initially made shoe buckles before transitioning to costume jewelry in 1927. The brothers' split in the mid-1940s led to the use of the MAZER mark on pieces made before 1946, and MAZER BROS. on jewelry from 1946-1952. Louis continued the business after the split but passed away in 1952, and the company ceased operations that same year. Joseph Mazer then founded the Jomaz line, producing high-quality costume jewelry under his own company. The company continued to produce costume jewelry under this name through the 1980s, led by Joseph’s son, Matthew Mazer. The brilliance of Mazer’s jewelry lies in its meticulous craftsmanship and timeless appeal, where each piece sparkles with a legacy of luxury and sophistication, destined to captivate collectors and fashion enthusiasts for generations.
