This is an incredible piece of genuine Victorian jet glass from the late 1800s! This buckle is an unusually large size, measuring 5 1/8" in length! Made entirely of French jet (black glass), this buckle is delicate and lovely! Each glass piece is wired onto the metal base. Although big in size, this is a lightweight piece. There is a rotating bar on the back with sharp teeth that secure this piece to fabric. A special treasure from the past!
