Lion Mark - Sterling Silver
Cat Mark - Made in London
Queen Victoria Mark - Used to indicated that duty (a tax on precious metals) had been paid to the Crown and helps date the item from 1838 - 1890
"G" in a Shield Mark - Dates this item to 1882
G.K - is an early mark for George Kenning
The 1993 inscription appears to be consistent with the age and remains a mystery!
