Vintage Sherman Siam Red Brooch Set

A stunning and highly sought-after example of vintage Sherman jewelry in deep, rich Siam red!

The brooch and matching earrings are built in a bold, dimensional floral cluster design, using a mix of navette and round rhinestones arranged in layered bursts. What really makes this set special is the depth of color: you’ll see a beautiful combination of darker and lighter Siam reds, paired with Siam stones finished in an aurora borealis coating that adds flashes of iridescent color as the light hits. The contrast between the deep reds and the AB shimmer gives the set exceptional visual depth and sparkle.

The stones are prong-set in a dark japanned (black lacquer) metal setting, which beautifully sets off the red crystals. Both pieces are signed Sherman on the reverse.

Sherman was Canada’s top designer of rhinestone and costume jewelry in the 1950s and 60s. A true collector’s piece and an outstanding example of high-quality vintage rhinestone jewelry from the era.
