Impressive Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Cuff Bracelet

An extraordinary vintage Southwestern sterling silver and turquoise cuff, weighing an exceptionally substantial 195.40 grams.

This impressive bracelet features three large turquoise cabochons, each with natural matrix and set in sawtooth bezels. The silverwork is richly detailed with applied feather or leaf motifs, twisted rope borders, silver bead accents and curled wire scrolls, creating the bold layered look strongly associated with traditional Navajo/Diné Southwestern silverwork.

The cuff is stamped FF. I have not found a reliable reference assigning this hallmark to a specific silversmith, so the maker remains unidentified.

The exact turquoise type has not been identified but one strong possibility is Morenci turquoise.

A substantial, beautifully worked vintage cuff with an impressive amount of silver and turquoise — the weight alone gives you an idea of just how significant and special this piece is.

🌟 Size: 7” inner circumference with a 1 1/2" gap. The circumference includes the gap measurement. The width is 2 1/8". This is top-heavy and will need to fit somewhat snugly. The silver does not give. It is very solid.
