An exceptional vintage signed Trifari brooch from the coveted L'Orient Jewels collection, introduced in the 1960s. Inspired by the exotic Eastern fashions of the era, the collection combines white "snakeskin" enamel with shiny faux coral Lucite cabochons and rich emerald green foil-back cabochons in an elegant swirling design.
The L'Orient Jewels collection is among Trifari's most recognizable midcentury fashion lines. Documented in the company's original advertising campaign shown here in 1968, it remains especially sought after for its bold combination of white enamel and vibrant colored stones, as well as its distinctive dimensional and textural Eastern design.
