This is a stunning Art Deco Brass and Vauxhall glass step necklace with reflective mirror glass stones in a deep red color!
Vauxhall glass is a very special type of material that has a silver backing, much like you find on mirrors, that gives it a reflective glow from within. The stones on this piece are geometric and often referred to as "step glass" stones.
Vauxhall glass jewelry was made in Victorian times and brought back into fashion in the Art Deco period. This piece is from that era and very likely made in Czechoslovakia.
Securely closes with a spring-ring clasp.
