The company remained a family business, with William's sons Donald and Robert taking over in the 1960s, followed by his grandson James in the 1980s. Known for high-quality costume jewelry using premium materials such as platinum, semi-precious stones, and vermeil, Hobe's pieces are treasured for their elegance and historical craftsmanship. The company was sold in the late 1990s or early 2000s, but its mark remains a symbol of timeless glamour.
