Hattie Carnegie (born Henrietta Kanengeiser in Vienna, Austria in 1886) was an American fashion entrepreneur based in New York City from the 1920s through the 1950s. She began her career in fashion with a hat and clothing business and eventually expanded into accessories including jewelry.
Her jewelry was created to complement her fashion designs and was sold throughout her business’s product lines.
