Art Deco Style Vintage Arrow Brooch.
What a great find! This phenomenal brooch appears to be made in the Art Deco style, although it is believed to be later (1940s). It boasts a grand size at 5 1/8" long! It features five large diamond-shaped amethyst glass stones that are complimented with clear crystals all down the length of the arrow.
The geometric design and general "jabot-style" look to the piece suggests Art Deco influence. The round hinge and faux bead setting on the front suggest a later production date. Large pins were very in style in the 40's. This is an incredible example of that trend!
I could not find another one anywhere like it! A very unique and collectible vintage item!
Please note that the clasp is a "c" clasp so it is held in place with tension from the fabric. There is no locking mechanism on the clasp.

π Condition: Excellent. Some of the clear stones are very slightly dulled. One of the purple glass stones is cut slightly differently (in production - possibly hand cut?). I can't imagine that this could be a replacement since it would be very hard to find such a good match, but it is possible. Overall, really nice condition!
