This lovely late 40s/early 50s brooch has a unique style complete with glowing foil-glass reverse-set style stones and faceted amethyst glass briolette drops! The center stone is a handmade lampwork mottled art glass stone that has the appearance of turquoise. Kandell & Marcus jewelry is not often seen, makig this pretty piece even more special.

Kandell & Marcus NY crafted high quality vintage costume jewelry in the 1940s and 1950s. Despite their fame during that era, the reasons for their cessation of production remain a mystery. Their limited edition handmade pieces are now sought after for their quality and rarity. Drawing inspiration from Victorian and Art Nouveau styles, they used materials like sterling silver, brass, gold-toned alloys, rhinestones, cabochons, crystals, and enamel.

🌟 Size: 2 5/8" long x just shy of 2" wide.
🌟 Condition: Excellent for the age! There is one area in the metal filigree style halo that has a split. This metal is exceptionally strong and it does not affect the structure. It appears to have been made that way and is part of the handmade nature of this piece.
