LaRoco, officially Layko Ross & Company, was a Seattle-based wholesale importer/exporter active from at least 1918 until the early 1970s. Founded by William O. Ross, who later partnered with Joseph Layko in 1929, the company distributed a variety of jewelry items, including tie clasps, necklaces, and earrings. Notably, LaRoco collaborated with prominent designers such as DeLizza & Elster, Regency, and Selro, featuring their creations under the LaRoco mark. The company's commitment to quality has ensured the enduring appeal of its pieces among collectors. You will notice a strong resemblance of these earrings to some of the ones made with the Selro name attached, particularly from their well-known butterfly line.
