A rare gem for collectors! This Trifari 'Alfred Philippe' 'Vicki' and 'Nicki' Miniature Ballerina Pin Pair are a stunning example of 1940s/1950s costume jewelry design. Featuring gold and rhodium-plated base metal, sparkling rhinestones, and a subtly luminous faux moonstone glass cabochon. A collectible example of Trifari's refined style and craftsmanship!

Marked Trifari with Crown, Des Pat No. 153388, this set was advertised in The New Yorker on March 5, 1949. Designed by Alfred Philippe, the patent was filed on January 22 and granted on April 12, 1949. A must-have for vintage jewelry lovers!

 

The original ad reads: "Here's a bejewelled pair of pins to dance through Spring and Summer with complete fashion assurance. She's dainty as a sprite with her tiny crown and ballet skirt asparkle with fiery rhinestones. He's romantic as Prince Charming in his brilliant, studded tunic. 🌟 Condition: Very good. All stones are present and they appear to be all original. Some wear to gold plate, mild dulling to stones, the girl has a very shallow nick on the side of her cabochon face. A rare find!
