This nearly antique coin has attractive details which make it a really nice selection for wearing as jewelry!

One side has the portrait of a young lady who wears a ray-like crown. The word "Liberty" is written above her head and by her neck are the words, "In God We Trvst" and the date - 1924. One source states that designer Anthony de Francisci deliberately put “V” instead of “U” in the word “trust” to celebrate America’s victory after the war. The reverse features a perched, bald eagle holding an olive branch in its claws to symbolize peace. In addition, bands of arrows radiate from the surrounding ground to represent the country’s military strength.

The reverse also features “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” along the upper edge. The coin’s face value appears as “ONE DOLLAR” in a straight line of text and the word “PEACE” along the lower edge.

This peace dollar is held in a silver-plated frame with a bail that is removable. The coin itself is 90% silver. The eagle is upside down on the reverse side when worn as a pendant. This could be turned around if you wish to wear the eagle side instead, by screwing open the top loop.

🌟 Size: 2 1/8" long with the bail, this is a weighty piece at 32.67 grams.
🌟 Condition: Excellent. The plated frame has wear on the bail showing a brass color through the metal. The coin details are quite nice as is the natural patina.
