A spectacular and hard-to-find vintage D’Orlan figural bird necklace, featuring an elaborate swan-like design in rich green and black enamel with clear rhinestone accents and a green glass belly.
The oversized pendant has wonderful dimensional construction, with sweeping enameled wings surrounding a large domed green glass centre. The gold-tone setting and rhinestone detailing give it a dramatic look.
The reverse is signed D’Orlan, with beautifully textured metalwork that mirrors the feathered design from the front. It hangs from a gold-tone rope-style chain and has real presence when worn.
This colorway, with the green belly in a necklace format, in excellent condition, is very hard to find.
