This show stopping vintage brooch is full of sparkle and mid-century drama! Designed in a bold atomic-style starburst, it features a domed center set with brilliant clear rhinestones, surrounded by radiating arms of alternating sapphire blue and clear baguettes. The entire piece is plated in gleaming rhodium for a crisp, icy finish that really makes the stones pop.
Marked only with the number 4677 on the back, this brooch is suspected to be by Avon of Belleville, a Canadian company known for producing high-end costume jewelry in the 1950s–70s. Many of their pieces were designed by the legendary Marcel Boucher, and this brooch’s number aligns with Boucher's original 4-digit design inventory system. While unsigned, it carries the quality and design hallmarks collectors associate with Boucher's work.
