This beautifully crafted vintage Native American Naja pendant features a vivid red coral cabochon framed by twisted rope detailing and traditional stampwork. The rich coral colour contrasts beautifully with the aged silver, giving this piece plenty of character.

The openwork Naja design features graceful, sweeping curves with decorative stamped accents along the arms and tips. The coral is securely set in a raised central mount, surrounded by a finely worked rope border. Particularly attractive is the balance between the polished silver surfaces and the darker recessed details, which bring out the workmanship.

The reverse reveals solid construction, while the smaller bail makes this pendant especially suitable for wearing on a finer chain. A nicely executed example of traditional Southwestern Native American silversmithing! Believed to be 1970s.
